Merging Jewish and Christian cultures and traditions, Mitchell and Meagen solemnly declared their Covenant Marriage together before God and a large gathering of friends and family. It was a beautiful warm and sunny Phoenix, Arizona day, and the Embassy Suites was an amazing venue for lodging, photos, ceremony and the reception celebration!!
A special congratulation to Meagen who is my 2nd cousin on the Cooper side!! We all favorably look forward to the positive impact you both will have on the whole world and us.
Please enjoy this Trailer to the main Wedding Movie!!

Showcase Tour | Snohomish Wedding Guild | May 23, 2010
Snohomish County is quickly becoming a sought after location for weddings. This may surprise some, but it's true!! The City of Snohomish in particular with its farm like setting, river, quaint town feel, outdoor venues and usually cheaper prices are just some of the reasons.
The Snohomish Wedding Guild where I'm a member is putting on the FREE Showcase Tour in May for one day on Sunday, May 23, 2010. Lorbaniah Cameograph have a booth at A Manor of Wine in downtown Snohomish which is another great spot for ceremony/reception or just the reception. Please click here for more information.

Three Ladies and a Man | Family Mini-Vacation
Last week we had the privilege to take a mini-vacation to Eastern Washington near Leavenworth and stay in a cabin. Corban and his three ladies including Laura, 3-1/2 year old Kaiah and 4 month old Petra were able to get some needed bonding time. One of our favorite local destination wedding venues Mountain Springs Lodge in Plain is near by and we stopped in for a visit to talk to Jaimi the day-of-coordinator. We love the off season because there are less people, prices are cheaper and the locals are more relaxed. Please enjoy some of the photos!! We find a lot of joy in bus photos and the lake pictured is Lake Wenatchee.

From Bellevue to Kigali | Jean McAllister
Jean McAllister moved to Rwanda after going on a short-term mission trip with First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue in 2004.
In June 2005, the Session commissioned Jean for full time mission work. She now lives in Kigali and works with African Enterprise (AE) in three areas: women and children at risk, educational support for street children and orphans, and teaching/preaching.
After learning Kinyarwanda, Jean built a network of local associations serving women who have experienced the horrors of genocide and war. Women learn to care for themselves and their children with encouragement from Jean and grow in trusting God.
